Since Thursday, my MT4 bot has stopped auto-trading. I have a total of 11 bots running with 7 of those under standard settings and timeframe M1 and 4 running consecutive bull/bear set to 2 hoping it would trigger a trade. Nothing. I made one manual buy and close to test if metatrade/forex.com is working and works fine. I opened the bot and yes, live trading is turned on, the AutoTrading button is green and the bot smiley face is smiling. Any suggestions appreciated.

I discovered the reason this was happening. Forex.com turned off EA trading for the FOREX.com-Demo 108 until further notice. I did not receive notice from Forex.com so I'm a little perturbed over that. The Experts tab in Metatrader 4 gave me a clue showing it's been trying to initiate trades but returned unknown errors which prompted me to ask Forex.com if there was a problem with my account... to which they disclosed that.

So Forex turned off AutomatedTrading essentially for EAs without disclosing this when you opened your account?
Was this confirmed to be only for Demo accounts or it affects both Demo and Live?

Correct and no they did not disclose when I opened. It worked for a week then stopped. Only demo accounts, they said it was impacting the performance of their regular business servers. They said they sent notification but I can’t find the email they said they sent.

What we know so far is that only Forex.com has this 'ban' on EAs for Demo accounts.
I've spent the last 6 or so hours looking at all the known brokers with MetaTrader and none has this policy,at least not from what was told to me but I will keep looking.

Are there any other reputable company's for us US? I'd like to keep testing this bot before I throw any of my actual money at it. As it sits right now, with hedging prohibited, I'm not confident this bot can even work in the US.

According MetaQuotes, only IG, Forex and Oanda support MT4 for US traders. Please let me know if you find any others. The playing field is thin for us. Drop me a line at tommyjw6206@gmail.com.
and *just* now found another.... Hankotrade.com. The other 3 support only MT4. Hankotrade.com also supports MT5.

Hi, I purchased Galileo Pro and the installation package. The bots were installed yesterday, but no trade has taken place yet. Autotrader is turned on, and all the settings have been reviewed and confirmed. Chris at Galileo told me to be patient and to wait until Wednesday to see if any trade occurs. However, Alan at Forex suggested I deposit additional funds. I have only $500 in my account and will not add additional funds until the trades begin. Any suggestions regarding why the trades have not started? It's been about 36 hours since the installation. Thanks
I was informed Forex.com disabled EA trading ONLY for DEMO accounts. I was told specifically live still EA can still trade. Check the Experts tab on the bottom and see if the bot is complaining of anything technical. What timeframe are you using?
I have few questions before I go ahead and buy Robot. First question is that do I need to close trades or bot does opening and closing itself? Second question is that I have APPLE IMAC which I use for trading, I don't seem to find installation process for IMAC. I wish I could talk to someone real time to ask questions.
