Intro and Newb question about the bots trading

afternoon all,
I purchased my first bot. This is my first dip into the forex world. I’ve traded options for a number of years and recently I started to read about these trading bots and I wanted to give a go. I wanted to see if they really were as good as advertised. I went all in and purchased the pro version with the premium settings. I think I have everything up and running but I’ve noticed now after a couple of hours, there have been no trades. I have algo trading turned on, I see the blue icon in the top right of the charts and I have a $1k sitting in my account waiting to be used.

How long does it usually take for the bot to really start to trade?

I am also new at this. I am starting small. Ridiculously small. How long before positive results or do I need to commit more funds?

As luck would have it my first full day of running the bot and the market decides ride right down the middle of the bollinger band, boring!
