Moving Galileo to VPS

Hello, I currently have Galileo running on my personal computer and want to move it to a VPS I purchased from Forex.com. I have a couple questions about the move.

1. Do I have to turn Galileo off on my personal computer in order to install it on the new VPS?

2. If I do have to turn Galileo off on my personal computer, will it close any open trades that I have?

3. What is the best way to move to the new VPS, can I leave Galileo on my personal computer and install it on the new VPS at the same time?

Hi there,

If you move everything over to the VPS yes it would be good to remove it from the Personal desktop so they don't interfere.
No, not necessarily, any open trades can stay opened even if you stop trading and they can resume once everything is setup on the VPS and trading is enabled back on.
The best way is to copy everything over to the VPS (MetaTrader, Galileo FX folder), log your trading account in on MetaTrader over on the VPS and install Galileo FX.

You can leave it on your Personal desktop sure, however if the goal is to trade on the VPS it's better to run everything there directly :)
