Multiple questions on Stops

I'm new to trading and trying to gain more in-depth understanding of Stops.

Are SL/TP/Trailing Stops set at the broker or what stops are broker initiated and what stops are bot initiated?

Are there any other types of Stops?

Can a bot be programmed with custom Stop algorithms?
