What's new

New to trading period.

So, you're changing the setting every day? How can that be effective? I'm asking because the backtest results are based on specific settings, and i thought we were using those same backtest settings. i didn't even know the algorithm could be effective with dynamic settings.

Did you test that approach, and did it give you good results?
Not everyday, the check up on the markets happens every day. However I only change the settings in case of like major news or wild swings in the market etc.

Darnell,

Often times I don't make adjustments unless I have more aggressive models running and want to be more cautious. I honestly am a very conservative trader looking for smooth and consistent gains.
