Newbie Question. Anyone?

I am new to this stuff so pardon my dumb question. But if i want to stop new trades and let the ones running finish can i simply turn off algo trading on mt5 or will that turn off the robot completely. is there a way to do this if that is not how it will work?

If you turn of AlgoTrading or the computer trading also stops

Don`t know if this is the best way but what I did was set Max Order to 1 on all my trading pairs to wait until the remaining ones were closed, when i was left with just 1 order i closed it manually.

You can tunr algo on and off for each individual pair or "instrument" you are tradking. The little graduation cap and tassle lights up blue if Algo is on.
