Hello. I have an issue with Indices and Other Pairs without Suffix PRO in MT5 and Galileo FX Pro Premium.
I ordered and downloaded Galileo FX Pro Premium (including the premium settings for EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/CAD, USD/CHF, XAU/USD, and XAG/USD) in early December 2024 and installed it plus MT5 (for OX Securities) one month later. I started Algo Trading with the demo account from OX Securities on February 3rd this year (2025) and the ones with Suffix PRO (again, EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/CAD, USD/CHF, XAU/USD, and XAG/USD) were working just fine with plenty of trading activities involved. (Note: I hadn’t started the actual account, as I had not put my money into my account yet.)
However, here’s where the problem started when I tried doing Algo Trading on indices.
I opened the charts for S&P 500 (also called US500 in OX Securities and SPX500 in Galileo) and NASDAQ (also called USTEC100 in OX Securities and NAS100 in Galileo), and I set S&P 500 in a timeframe of M15 and NASDAQ in M5. I loaded Solar Index Surge setting on S&P 500 (M15) and Quantum Scalper Drive setting on NASDAQ (M5), and I never changed any parameters on these preloaded settings except lots size, which I set to 0.01 for testing purposes. I even put a check mark on the box for allowing the use of Algo Trading on both indices. I turned Algo Trading on at the top menu bar to start automatic trading process. I waited for a long time and I saw no trading activity on both S&P 500 (M15) and NASDAQ (M5). I was feeling confused on why there was no trading activity on these indices. I even tried doing similar things on the other two indices, UK100 and STOXX50, and they still had no trading activity. I later found out that those without the Suffix PRO (including S&P 500 and NASDAQ) didn’t work on Algo Trading, despite having the box checked for Algo Trading in the parameter setting. (Please see the pictures of the screenshot for clarification.) I felt like I had too many MMMO (Missed Money-Making Opportunity) for the indices I had been working on for some time.
I would appreciate it if you can tell me the main reason the indices and other pairs without Suffix PRO didn’t work on Algo Trading. Thanks.
