I would recommend you set SL and TP depending on your risk appetite.

For example if you're monitoring your trades go for 1:1 ratio or 100 SL 100 TP, if you see that you hit your preferred profit or satisfied with the profit you are seeing from your trades. Close it manually. Small gains and slowly growing your account is the key!

Remember there is no shortcut to success.

So do you use all the charts with values in them or do you use only a fraction of those charts? I am trying to understand how many charts we should use to be better positioned for profitability... Thanks!

I suggest you try them first on a demo account and once you jump on a live account consider risk management and adapt to market conditions.

Absolutely, I have yet to open a live account. I have only been using a demo account. Made out well on my first two days with 2 charts and making a profit of $300 but leaving a bunch of open positions in the red. Hoping to make a profit on them when the market goes bull again. I am trying 6 pairs now and anxious to see how that goes. I chose the ones you mentioned on this preset post. Thank you!

just make sure you are using small lotsize sometimes we have an open position in red but if we use small lotsize then we can still do martingale

Need your help. I can't seem to get the back test results to work. See attachments. First one is the results, second slide is usdjpy and last setting is usdcad. Looking for suggestions.

Thanks

Thanks a lot for your recommendation, Vinz! Have a great trading week!

Please forgive the finance novice questions -

Does the amount of capital you have in a brokerage affect the amount of profit made? Capital does not serve as a multiplier like compounding interest, is that right? A person with $500 as starting capital makes the same profit as a person with $100K in capital if they buy the same share with the same settings?

Thanks!

Goodluck and happy trading to everyone.

Don't forget risk management okay
