Stragedy tester not working

Hi guy,s stragedy tester not working , backtest not working , optimization also when run graph does not show ticks like previously , optimization results all 0 values . i opened new demo account 2 days ago added 4 charts whentrying optimization not working doe s your connection fall off in demo mode?
i signed up for Meta VPS am connected , have migrated all settings , as stated seems like can,t pull info for stragedy tester to run
do i need to change any settings for new META VPS connection? signed up for 3 months , just curious do i need to sign up with a broker at this time for connection to work?

i had the same problem in mt5 but not mt4. i use mt4 for backtesting now. when I backtested in mt5, it was like it wasn't running the backtest against any data. for example, if I started with $2k in the test, the balance remained flat at $2k during the whole test. This is NOT the case in MT4. It works as it should.
