Hey @mikegillespie07 ,

I will try to answer all your questions:
1. When we talk about trading style it usually means that if you start metatrader and galileo ea, in the day you might get trades fairly quickly and they might end quickly as well like in 15 mins to 3-4 hours, for swing and long term its ideal that we leave the system on for 24*5 or 24*7 depending on the instrument because the trades may be less and also it may take 16 hours to 2-3 days for closing of the trade for Swing and longer for Long term investing.
2. When you open the files uploaded you will find the start and end dates in the HTML file (just open it).
3. For best results depending on your trading style if day trading an optimization of past 6 months should give decent results for around 2 weeks (but it also depends on your analytical skills of identifying and understanding the metrics in backtests).
4. I don't think its a problem if an order gets executed when left overnight as its the feature of trading that target or stop loss will get hit. But if you are nervous please only activate when you are satisfied with backtesting and demo account testing, and maybe only use it while you are present. You can also configure notifications if your broker provides so you can activate and do what you want but if a trade triggers then you can monitor it and take appropriate action.

Thanks for writing I hope I could help.

In the zip files with the Report Tester with the time settings, what time zone is it set up for please?

Good morning; I'm new to forex trading and wonder if I can trade futures and stock with Galileo MT4? I don't see any options for it on my Forex account...

Hi Sanchay, Happy New Year!
Apologies if this question has already been answered (and for what seems like an obvious query - I've only just started following your posts) but when you send out a new performance report, do we stop any pairs that had been issued in the previous weeks that have not had updated settings issued?
For example, NAS100 wasn't in the list for this week but was in the list for last week.
Thank you

Good morning Rafa, Thank you for your query.
Galileo Fx MT4 can trade whatever the instrument is present in your broker's account. If the broker permits trading futures and Stocks and that have ability to integrate the same in MetaTrader 5 or 4 then the thing will be working. So, Galileo Fx can be used to trade all of the instruments.

Hello Sanchay,

Call me naïef, but I have a somewhat other perception of a "robot". Don't misunderstand me: I am enthusiastic about Galileo FX.
But a robot you switch on and does its work. I wouldn't call a dish-washer a robot, but a vacuum-cleaner-robot does its work in its advanced way.
To change settings when trends alter or when a next week is coming up, are (I in my view) things a robot should do by itself. Or am I wrong?

Hey Guys, wish you and your loved ones a happy new year from Galileo FX team.

In the zip files with the Report Tester with the time settings, what time zone is it set up for please?
Hey calisto, The time zone is default GMT +0.

Noticed no Timeframes this week, only Trading Style and Trading Mode. Just wondered why?
Hey MadDawg, the timeframes are all mentioned inside the zip file kindly check them.

Hi Maerek, If it would be me I would do the following: For day trading I would swap the latest ones and remove the old ones. For SWING and LTI i would change them as per my preference and the performance of the latest one should be better than the already deployed one. Also if you like some asset to be included in the next week's performance report just let us know here in this thread by just mentioning the name and tag me or @Muskan we will try to put it on next monday.

Hey Fritzvanderlaar, I understand you and I somewhat agree however, here is a take. If I am using a dishwasher but some utensils not compatible with dishwasher directly so i may have to open it up adjust a little maybe apply soap manually, etc or something like that, right? but largely dishwasher helps me save time and water while ensuring utensils are cleaner in the reduced efforts. Similarly, galileo fx is a tool that can automate certain use cases completely but for earning more profits with reduced or exactly the risk you are comfortable with you should monitor it. Its a great tool to enhance your trading while ensuring you can do something meanwhile there is no trade, when there is you can be alert and monitor for the time being. I hope I could help you understand it a bit more. Thanks!!

Thank you Sanchay, looking forward to a positive year with Galileo.
I've run the signals for a couple of weeks and would like some feedback from you on the results - can you please let me know the simplest was to share these will you?

Yes
I have Funded Account. Does Robot works on it?It is not working though I have installed in perfect manner.
Yeah, this may be an issue with your funded account provider/broker. Because in some competition accounts algo trading is not allowed. I suggest contacting your competition provider and checking with them. Thanks for writing.
