Selecting the right broker is a crucial step when setting up Galileo FX, as it directly impacts the performance and reliability of your trades. When choosing a broker, it’s important to consider factors such as regulation, spreads, platform compatibility, and the broker’s reputation. Galileo FX is compatible with both MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5), so your chosen broker must support these platforms.

For traders in the United States, brokers like Oanda and Forex.com are highly recommended due to their CFTC regulation and strong reputation. These brokers offer tight spreads, which is essential for maximizing profitability with Galileo FX. Similarly, in Europe, brokers such as IC Markets and Pepperstone are favored for their low spreads and MiFID regulation. These brokers provide a secure trading environment while ensuring that your trades are executed efficiently.

In addition to regulation and spreads, it’s also important to consider the broker’s support for automated trading. Not all brokers allow the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) like Galileo FX, so verifying this before opening an account is essential. Furthermore, some brokers offer additional features such as VPS hosting, which can enhance the performance of Galileo FX by reducing latency and ensuring that the trading robot runs smoothly 24/7.

To make the best choice, compare brokers based on these key factors and consider starting with a demo account to test the platform’s compatibility with Galileo FX. Once you’ve identified a reliable broker that meets these criteria, you can confidently proceed with live trading, knowing that your trades are supported by a trustworthy platform.

Interactive Brokers do offer MT5 indeed. However you have to setup a bridge to connect both so you would have to contact them directly for instructions :)

I have not gone with any brokers. My account disappeared. I reached out to GFX for help but heard nothing. So, I've not made any progress on anything for some time. Thanks,

Hi Scott,

Just to clarify, which account disappeared exactly? Was it your broker account (like Interactive Brokers) or your Galileo FX purchase/account access? If it’s the broker account, you would need to contact the broker directly to check what happened. If it’s related to your Galileo FX account, access, or download, please email us at support@galileofx.com with your order number, the email used for purchase, and a short explanation of what you’re seeing.

We definitely want to help you resolve this, so once we receive your email, we’ll look into it right away and guide you step by step.

I can recomend Blackbull Markets, been with them years good spreads, low cost, MT4 + MT5 plus integrated with Trading view and other platforms too.

Thanks for the recommendation, Harvey 👍

BlackBull Markets is definitely a solid broker and we’ve seen many users run Galileo FX smoothly on MT4 and MT5 with them.

As always, it’s good for everyone to do their own research and choose the broker that best fits their location and trading needs.

Appreciate you sharing your experience!

I am confused. I.am.usinh meta trader 5. I have an account which says Meta Quotes - Demo. Now how do I fund real account? Do I need another brokerage account to use this Galileo advisor to auto trade?

Hi Rajesh,

The MetaQuotes Demo account you see in MetaTrader 5 is only a default demo account provided by the platform for testing. It is not connected to a real broker, so it cannot be funded for live trading.

To trade with Galileo FX on a real account, you will need to open a live trading account with a broker that supports MetaTrader 5. Once the broker approves your account, they will provide you with login credentials for a live MT5 account, which you can then log into inside MetaTrader.

After logging into the broker’s live account in MT5, you can deposit funds through the broker’s website or client portal. At that point, you can attach Galileo FX to your chart and it will be able to trade automatically on that live account.

Thanks. What's the best trading account for USA which supports MT5/Galileo? I also later want to automate using trading view signals using the same trading account at some point. I heard Onada and interactive brokers. Which one is good ? Or any other suggestions?

Rajesh,

It does depend on what you are looking to trade as well.
Interactiv at the moment does not offer MetaTrader according to their website.
Oanda, Forex.com,TastyFX
These are the big 3 we usually encounter in the US.
