Comparing two or more performance Settings

When running two performances, in my example I am running the "Phantom Liquidity" and "Rogue Crater" side by side both with the 30Min. How do you tell which trade is using which of the performances so that you know which one is the right one for you as a trader? Which one is making money and which one is the one that you shouldn't be using?

Hey there! 👋

Good question when you’re running two performances side by side like that, the best way to tell which one’s doing better is by checking the trade history and profit/loss in your MT4/MT5 terminal. Each strategy will open trades with slightly different entry times and sizes, so you can compare which one’s giving you more consistent returns or smaller drawdowns.

It’s usually a good idea to let both run for a while under similar market conditions, then decide which one performs more steadily for your style.

Hope that helps! 👍

@Marc please explain further, I am using MT5 and I have the report running along side. Left Chart is running "Phantom Liquidity" and right is running "Rogue Crater". when selecting the trade it doesn't show which of the chart that the trade originated from.

Hi there,

That’s actually expected MT5 doesn’t directly show which chart a specific trade came from when you’re running multiple strategies. The best way to track them is to label each strategy (like “Phantom Liquidity” and “Rogue Crater”) and monitor their trades separately — either by the account history comments or by checking their individual reports.

You can also open two separate MT5 instances to make it easier to see which one is performing better in real time.

Hope that clears things up! 👍
