Here are some common reasons why Galileo FX might not initiate a trade:

  1. Market Conditions Not Met: Galileo FX follows specific market conditions and parameters to execute trades. If those conditions are not met, the robot will not initiate a trade. For example, if the required consecutive signals for entry are not present, no trade will be triggered.
  2. Insufficient Funds: If your account balance is too low to open a new position based on the set lot size, Galileo FX may refrain from initiating a trade.
  3. Max Orders Limit Reached: If you have set a maximum number of open orders, and that limit has been reached, the robot will not initiate any new trades until some of the existing orders are closed.
  4. Risk Management Settings: If the risk management settings, such as stop loss or trailing stop, conflict with the current market situation, the robot may avoid initiating a trade to protect your account from unnecessary risk.
  5. Platform Issues: Sometimes, issues with the trading platform (MetaTrader 4/5) or internet connectivity can prevent Galileo FX from executing trades.
  6. Configuration Errors: If the robot is not configured correctly or settings are improperly applied, this could also prevent it from initiating trades.
  7. Broker Limitations: Certain brokers may have restrictions that can impact trading, such as minimum trade sizes or limitations on the number of trades per day.

Sometimes, orders may not be executed if the trading conditions specified in Galileo FX aren't met.

Hi
I am new here and started testing bot on my demo account. Nothing has been picked so far and in MT5 journal I see [trade disabled] message. Any ideas what might go wrong? I emailed Polish Oanda customer support but they have not returned to me yet.
thanks

Glad to know that you were able to trade now. I think you didn't allow or check the box for algo trading.

I just figured out that the settings download from Galileo have to be set to Lot 0.01. They were set to 0 when I downloaded them, and the response was "insufficient funds" (don't understand that!). I did not know what to do with a couple of settings, e.g. Cautious Signal Nebula, which has

Most of the other sets are like this:

iLots=0.01
percRisk=3.5
iMaxOrders=3

iTrailingStart=130
iTrailingStep=60
parametersSec2space=
parametersSec3=
iBullishX=7
iBearishX=10

Except that iLots was set to 0. So I changed all of these to 0.01. According to the View|>Toolbox>Journal tab it seems to have done a couple of trades, and the History tab shows a profit of 0.36.

I do not know understand what the instruction "to use it in the strategy tester, click Load in the context menu of the Inputs tab" means. The Strategy Tester is in the View menu, but clicking on that doesn't seem to bring up anything. Would be great if someone could walk me through this!

Is there any way you can check the LICENSE on my account to make sure it is ok? We have plenty of funds, and we have checked all of the SETTINGS.
We had the license installed on 2 different computers and this may have triggered an issue? We installed it on our PLEXY Server now, and your TECH set it up, but never verified everything because he was in a RUSH, and had to go because he had another install. He missed our SCHEDULED install because power was out in the PHILLIPINES. I truly do believe there's an INSTALL issue here. He never checked anything, and didn't stick around to answer any of the questions we had because he had to go so quickly. THANKS for your response in this. WE do have the PREMIUM PACKAGE.
Hello, to check whether there is an install issue, please contact our support@galileofx.com for assistance
