How do I start

So I think I have setup an account. I have chosen a Broker from the list. I have gone into the trading page and put 10k into something in Demo mode.
I dont have any idea how this works and how Galileo fits in to the whole trading experience.

The broker provides the trading account and the platform (usually MetaTrader), which is where the market prices and charts are shown. Galileo FX works as an automated trading tool that runs inside the trading platform. Once installed on MetaTrader and attached to a chart, it can analyze the market and automatically open and manage trades based on the settings you choose. In simple terms, the broker provides the trading environment, MetaTrader is the platform where you see and manage trades, and Galileo FX is the software that automates the trading strategy.

Since you are currently using a demo account, it’s a good opportunity to test how everything works and see how the bot behaves without risking real money. Many users start this way so they can understand the process before moving to a live account.

I will try to get sat down to look through a bit more info on how to link the 2 together. To be honest I don't know what I clicked on to start trading the virtual money but it's in there doing something. I have a meeting with one of the guys soon, hopefully this will get things up and running. Thanks for your help. Davie

You’re welcome, and it sounds like you’re already on the right track. What you’re seeing with the virtual money is normal because the MetaQuotes demo account automatically allows trading in demo mode, so any trades you see are only simulated and not using real funds.

Once you sit down and go through the setup, the main step is simply attaching Galileo FX to a chart inside MetaTrader and loading a preset so the bot knows how to trade. Since you are still using a demo account, this is actually the best way to learn how everything works before moving to a real account.

Take your time exploring the platform and testing things out. If anything is unclear while you are setting it up, feel free to ask and we can guide you further.
