Do I need to change the magic number if I am running GalileoFX at the same time on 2 different pairs?

Magic Number is used by MetaTrader for identification of trades or orders created by the EA's it helps in organizing and managing multiple EA's. If you are using multiple EA's then you can change it to identify the trades made by Galileo FX.

You don't need to change it for two different pairs at the same time

Thank you Joeboy! So if I am understanding you correctly. For example, if I am using three different strategies for SPX500, each EA should have its own unique magic number. Do the magic numbers have to have a specific number of characters?

Hi there,

Yes the logic is correct however usually unless you use a different software that's not Galileo FX you don't need to necessarily change them
