My First Day testing GalileoFX on EURUSD - Lesson & Surprises

Just wrapped up my first full day running Galileofx on demo (i've attached some screenshot taken during the trades , along with the strategy i selected from the performance page )

Setup :

Account - $10k Demo

Pair - EURUSD

Timefream - 1M (you might be wondering why i chose the 1M timefreame . since it's my first test , i wanted to see how the strategy ecexutes on a shorter timefream .)

Results (Day 1) :

Total Trades - 1

Wins - 1

Profit / loss - +249$

My Experiance :

Let's start with installation. I think GalileoFX has one of the simplest setup processes because the instructions are very straightforward. I just followed them step by step and everything was set up perfectly. I didn't run into any issues, so the whole process was smooth. The only issue I had was before adding a downloaded setting to load into the strategies, but I reached out to the support team and they quickly helped me get it ready to go.

Honestly, the biggest surprise for me was how quickly it reacted to trend moves. I was expecting slower entries (that's why I picked EURUSD in the first place; I can pick gold if I want volatility) but the strategies caught clean setups. I ran the trade during New York session and it triggered one trade as you can see on the screenshot the SL was on 1.17875 but when it's in profit zone the SL became dynamic and moved it into SL - 1.17566 (it's a sell order) then stopped out but the strategy moved its stop loss to profit so it gave me 250 profit. That doesn't mean anything but we will see the strategy after 50 trades and many more; we will review it weekly and monthly.

What i Liked :

Dyanmic SL

I didn't have to babysit the trades (even if it's in short timefreme )

Drawdown stayed under control

Next Step :

i will share my weekly and monthly update . we will see what the result told us . Screenshot (945).png
the Account current trade is on a 1M timeframe , as you can see . the stoploss is set at 1.17875 . here's how the stoploss looks after the trade closed , without my intervention .

Here's the strategy i selected from the performance page .

those are just my views - hope you enjoy them . also , feel free to let me know what i can improve .

Hi Daneil,

Thanks for sharing your detailed experience and first results it’s great to see you had a smooth setup and already got a solid win on your first day! 👍 Running the bot on a 1M timeframe is an interesting choice for testing responsiveness, and it’s good to see how quickly it adapted to trend movements. The dynamic SL clearly helped you lock in profit without intervention, which is one of the big advantages of Galileo FX. We’re looking forward to seeing your weekly and monthly updates it’ll be exciting to compare how the results scale over time with more trades.

Keep it up and thanks again for sharing your insights!

That result Doesn't Mean much because it's been tried only once. anyone could have gotten that win . However , as a community , i share my experience because people want to see a practical one. i keep posting weekly and monthly updates on the basis of this .And MARKC i chose those short timefreames to observe the platform but the results didn't show much . still , i will keep using them in the future as long as the account is a demo , since there's no risk . Maybe scalping in those time freams will work better with those setting .

Thank you for the comment though , i will keep posting my weekly and montly review .

You’re right, one result alone doesn’t prove much. But I think it’s great you’re sharing your process, it gives the community something real to learn from. Scalping on short timeframes might need more testing, Thanks for sharing Daneil !!

Thanks for the clarification and for sharing your honest feedback with the community. You’re absolutely right one trade isn’t enough to draw conclusions, but it’s a great first step to see how the bot behaves in real-time. Posting consistent weekly and monthly updates will definitely give a clearer picture of performance over time.

It’s also interesting that you’re testing on the shorter timeframe, as it helps highlight how the strategy reacts to quick market movements. Scalping on those smaller timeframes could indeed provide more insight, and it’ll be valuable to see how your tests progress.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your results with everyone looking forward to your upcoming updates!

By the way, the most interesting part is that when i first throught about scalping, i assumed it would open trades every minutes. But that is not the case. it only opens a maximum of 10 trades a day, even when i set it to the shortest timeframe. i'll share my weekly results in couple of days. thank you for your comment!
