Hi New to the EA and the group a few aspects that i needed help with and appreciate responses from more in the know
1) On IOS MT5 i am struggling to find the meta server that my broker (Forex.com) advised i.e. Forex.com-Live532 . It does find that on the MT5 app on windows, have tried refreshing the ios app .Have written to brokers customer support - yet to hear back . Anyone who may have the same server and was able to solve this or a simillar issue with another broker and may have had success.
2) I have put in conservative settings (h1, TP : 95 , S/loss : 85 - consecutive bullish and bearish signals at 8/10 on EUR/USD) and the bot has yet to put any trades over the past couple of days . i appreciate the market has ranged in sessions prior to Fri , however with Fri's NFP numbers there was a fair bit of movement - so am i just short on patience here or missing something technically ?
3) I ran backtesting with Galileo's settings and was seeing a slow bleed , once i ran optimization on MT5 for forward saw a fair bit different which produced drwadown of 38% and returns of 3X from JAN-YTD . Not looking to make a killing until i have a better handle on how the Galileo EA operates , how much faith should i place on MT5 testing of EA.
