You should download the official MetaTrader app that matches your platform:

• MetaTrader 4 (MT4) if your broker/account uses MT4
• MetaTrader 5 (MT5) if your broker/account uses MT5

Avoid random third-party apps. Just use the official MetaTrader app from the App Store or Google Play, then log in using your broker account credentials.
