U.S. Brokers That Support Galileo FX (2025 Update)

I’ve seen a lot of questions lately about which brokers U.S. traders are using for algorithmic trading with MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) and Galileo FX. Since U.S. regulations are stricter than in many other countries, the broker list is more limited, but there are still some solid options.

Here are some of the main regulated brokers currently supporting MetaTrader and EAs in the U.S., along with the assets they offer:
  • FOREX.com – MT4 & MT5 available. Supports automated trading like Galileo FX. Assets include forex pairs, commodities, indices, and some crypto CFDs (availability can vary).
  • OANDA – Primarily MT4 for U.S. accounts. Supports automated trading like Galileo FX. Assets: forex pairs, commodities, indices, precious metals.
  • TastyFx – Offers MT4 accounts. Supports automated trading like Galileo FX and provides extra tools/indicators. Assets: forex, some CFDs, indices, commodities.
  • Trading.com – MT5 (and MT4 for certain accounts). Supports automated trading. Assets: forex, indices, commodities, energies, and in some cases, cryptos.

⚠️ Important note: U.S. regulations (CFTC, NFA, etc.) change from time to time. Leverage is capped (usually 50:1 on majors, less on minors/exotics), hedging is restricted, and brokers may update their policies on what kinds of automated trading they allow (e.g. scalping, grid, arbitrage). Because of that, it’s always best to double-check the broker’s latest terms directly.

Hope this helps.

I was referred also to Ox Securities and NinjaTrader as a link to my existing Schwab account. Ninja does not appear to have good trading options but Ox Securities looks good with all markets but stock. However, they say we have to get a referral link from GalileoFX to set up an account. I tried to set up over the weekend and it said I couldn't for my region. I just called them and they told me that as of 2025, they have been requiring this referral link. Anyone have it?

Hey Scott,

Thanks for letting us know.
Any chance you can send me an email over at chris@galileofx.com ?
I'd like to look into this 'refferal link' exactly to see what they might need or mean
