I have set GFX on 7 pairs some long and some short but every trade that opens, opens 2 of exactly the same trade ? Any help would be greatly received (i am not tech savvy)

It also depends on what settings you are using.
On MetaTrader 4 going LONG or SHORT only can be selected, so make sure that is also checked
