Good morning! My name is Bruce and I'm new to this website. I'm a physician who's been trading stocks for many years, options now for a couple of years and I've been seriously considering adding GalileoFX to the other strategies I use for investing. I wouldn't use GalileoFX for currency trading but for stock trading. So to start with I'd ask are there others that use GalileoFx for stock trading in particular short term or 'swing' trading? If so are the signals adequate for domestic stock trading short term
and what problems do you see with using this platform specifically the Pro version for what I'm considering? Maybe elaborate on your results? Thanks for any help with this.

Hello Bruce,
My name is Fritz. I am trading stocks now for almost 2 months with Galileo FX (Personal).
If you are living in the US, the major issue will be to find the right broker.
I am from Holland and found a suited broker in Cyprus after a long search: Just2Trade
A broker that allows you to trade stocks in he US (and allows using MT5) is, I understand from other forummembers, hard to find.
Let me know.

Fritz: Thanks very much for that information. My thought is I will do the manual inputting of sell or buy signals on a stock after I have those signals from the galileo fx, I don't need to have a different broker linked up since that broker isn't involved in my trading and the galileo fx won't be linked to any broker, I'll take the trade signals it gives me and I act on them not a broker. My real question would be how effective has galileo fx been for your stock trading? I'm looking to improve my trading accuracy / profitability by using the galileo fx. I'm doing it this way since I use a MAC computer and a non acceptable broker for galileo (schwab) and a non acceptable trading platform ie Think or Swim. So this would be my fix on my set up with galileo fx.

Hello Bruce,
I don't think the way you are planning to use Galileo FX will work. Galileo FX works with the stock-data supplied by the broker it sends its orders to.
Best thing to do, is to contact the helpdesk and explain your plans. They also can tell if using a MAC is a problem.
Any questions after that, please let me know. Good luck.

Fritz: Thanks for that 'heads-up' info. I'll call the helpdesk today. My understanding from talking with the USA sales rep was that there are 45 stocks that galileo is configured to work with and I could look at those 45, find buy and sell signals and act on my own through my MAC and the broker I use. My entry and exit points on any stock would be inputted into the Think or Swim platform I use. The rep agreed I could do that especially those 45 stocks. Thanks again for the info. I'll let you know what the help desk tells me.
